Hace poco más de
una hora se han dado a conocer los ganadores de los premios BAFTA, los más
importantes del cine británico, que también tienen un hueco para el cine
internacional. Así ha ocurrido este año, con “The Artist” como clara vencedora
con seis premios de peso: película, director, actor, guión original, banda
sonora y fotografía. La otra gran favorita, “El topo”, se ha tenido que
conformar con dos, película británica y guión adaptado. Empata así con los dos
técnicos concedidos a “Hugo”, los dos de “The Iron Lady” (actriz para Meryl
Streep y maquillaje), y los dos para la gran infiltrada, “Senna” (documental y
montaje). Lo demás muy repartido, con Christopher Plummer y Octavia Spencer
recogiendo otro galardón como secundarios, y con “La piel que habito” ganándole
la partida a “Nader y Simin: Una separación” como film extranjero.
